Join Our Dance Competition Team!
Our Competition Team is more than just dancing—it’s about growing as performers, teammates, and confident individuals.
Throughout the season, our team will not only perform at local events, but also compete at dance competitions across Central Florida, where dancers will have the opportunity to win trophies, titles, and awards.
Being part of the competition team is a fantastic way for dancers to:

We are gearing up for a parent/dancer info meeting to learn about being on our team. Please reach out for times and dates if you have a dancer who is interested in dancing with us.
Team Level Info
There are 4 levels for our competition dance team.
Team Levels have limited space available, so sign up before each level fills all their open spots!
What to Wear
Hair for class – Buns are required for ballet. If ballet is back to back with another class, hair is required to stay in.
All hair is to be up in a ponytail or a bun for all other classes.
Loose hair and bangs need to be pinned and sprayed out of the dancer’s face so it is not to be distracting while dancing.
What to wear for class – For ballet class dancers need to be in pink tights and a leotard of any color. If ballet is back to back with another class, full changing is not allowed but items can be worn over the tights and leo if the dancer would like.
For all other classes, tights, and appropriately form-fitting dancewear can be worn. Loose clothing will not be allowed at all.
Canvas ballet shoes, tan jazz shoes and contemporary foot undies. No excessive jewelry, accessories or headwear is allowed at any time unless noted otherwise (fun dress up days).
Please write dancers name in all shoes and team wear so if it is mixed up or missing it will be easily identified.

Q & A
1. Does my dancer need experience?
Nope, we will train every dancer to perform to their best ability, beginner or experienced.
2. What's the time commitment like?
Dancers will have weekly classes 2-3 nights a week. Competitions will be on several weekends from January to June
3. What's the cost?
There's a one time registration fee and then monthly tuition that covers almost everything for the season.
4. What are the styles/genres of dance?
Mainly we do ballet, jazz and contemporary but solos, duos and trios can be any genre.
5. What's the team culture?
At ADA we are a family and the whole team will be one unit no matter the levels or experience 🤍
